This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.
• Develop and enhance the technical automation strategy, addressing high-complexity challenges across pipelines, environments, and frameworks.
• Create intricate automation solutions.
• Serve as the main QA authority in architectural decisions, ensuring quality is embedded from the design phase.
• Collaborate with Development, Product, and Platform teams to break down silos and expedite the delivery of value.
• Provide a critical and constructive quality perspective during Agile ceremonies.
• Spearhead the comprehensive implementation of AI throughout the testing lifecycle, including automated test case generation and failure analysis.
• Assess emerging AI tools and methodologies, transitioning from prototypes to production environments.
• Design and refine the organizational model for quality metrics, encompassing coverage, defect escape rate, and flakiness.
• Convert data into strategic insights for Engineering, Product, and Management teams.
• Create dashboards that support data-driven decisions regarding product health and team performance.
• Actively identify quality trends and potential risks before they affect client operations.
• Mentor the professional development of the QA team and promote the adoption of industry best practices.
• Foster a proactive culture where defect prevention is a standard practice.
• At least 10 years of experience in Quality Assurance with a strong emphasis on automation.
• Proven track record of addressing complex automation challenges in production (e.g., flakiness at scale, map/canvas-based testing).
• Practical application of AI in testing, including log analysis and AI-assisted exploration.
• Advanced expertise in end-to-end and API automation frameworks such as Playwright and Rest-assured.
• Capability to define and interpret quality metrics to develop decision-oriented reporting systems.
• Extensive knowledge in Agile Testing, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong English communication skills (C1 Level); experience in international teams is highly regarded.
• Demonstrated experience in mentoring and providing technical direction to teams.
• A background in .NET development is a significant advantage.
• Experience in data QA (Python, R, Airflow) is a plus.
