Staff Python Engineer, Document App Track

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Drive the long-term evolution and technical vision of the Document Domain, ensuring a balance between product requirements, scalability, reliability, and the developer experience.

• Advocate for AI-driven development workflows, providing mentorship to engineers and enhancing the effectiveness, quality, and productivity of the engineering team.

• Spearhead cross-team initiatives to deliver top-notch document capabilities while harmonizing architecture and engineering practices across the track.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6+ years of development experience using Python.

• Strong expertise in relational databases (SQL, migrations, optimization), message queues (RabbitMQ, NATS, Kafka), event-driven systems, DDD principles, and asynchronous programming.

• Proficiency in AI workflows for development to enhance your own productivity and positively influence the productivity of fellow team members.

• Commitment to mentoring other engineers within the organization to support their technical growth.

• Experience in domain strategy, with the ability to identify challenges and formulate solid plans for a one-year horizon.

• A solid understanding of the development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and deployment to application monitoring.

• Extensive practical experience in application development.

• Capable of articulating technical concepts clearly in English across engineering teams, both verbally and in writing.
