Staff Python Engineer, Document App Track

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Lead the long-term development and technical strategy of the Document Domain, ensuring a balance between product requirements, scalability, reliability, and developer experience.

• Advocate for AI-enhanced development workflows, guiding engineers and enhancing the effectiveness, quality, and productivity of the engineering team.

• Spearhead cross-team projects to deliver top-tier document capabilities while ensuring alignment in architecture and engineering practices across the track.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 6+ years of development experience with Python.

• In-depth understanding of relational databases (SQL, migrations, optimization), message queues (RabbitMQ, NATS, Kafka), event-driven systems, DDD principles, and asynchronous programming.

• Proficient in AI development workflows to enhance personal productivity and positively influence the productivity of team members.

• Provide mentorship to fellow engineers within the organization to foster their technical growth.

• Engage in domain strategy, with the ability to pinpoint challenges and devise solid plans for a one-year horizon.

• Strong grasp of the development cycle from requirements analysis through deployment to application monitoring.

• Extensive hands-on experience in application development.

• Capable of articulating technical concepts clearly in English across engineering teams, both in spoken and written forms.
