Staff Python Engineer, Document App Track

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Lead the long-term development and technical vision of the Document Domain, ensuring a balance between product requirements, scalability, reliability, and developer experience.

• Advocate for AI-driven development practices, guiding engineers and enhancing the overall effectiveness, quality, and productivity of the engineering team.

• Manage cross-team projects to provide top-tier document functionalities while ensuring alignment of architecture and engineering methodologies across the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6+ years of experience in development using Python.

• Strong expertise in relational databases (SQL, migrations, optimization), message queues (RabbitMQ, NATS, Kafka), event-driven architectures, DDD principles, and asynchronous programming techniques.

• Proficient in utilizing AI workflows for development to enhance personal productivity and positively influence the productivity of fellow team members.

• Experience in mentoring engineers within the organization to foster their technical development.

• Capable of formulating domain strategies, identifying challenges, and creating robust plans for a one-year outlook.

• Solid understanding of the development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and deployment to application monitoring.

• Significant practical experience in application development.

• Effective communication of technical concepts in English across engineering teams, both verbally and in writing.
