Staff Psychiatrist, MD or DO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.

📋 Description

• Deliver psychiatric care via telehealth for various conditions such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, insomnia, PTSD, and bipolar disorder.

• Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, which include mental health history, medical background, diagnostic assessments, and risk evaluations.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that integrate medication management with brief psychotherapy when suitable.

• Offer compassionate, respectful, and patient-focused care.

• Apply evidence-based clinical protocols along with responsible prescribing practices.

• Collaborate with fellow psychiatrists through consultations and case evaluations.

• Utilize technology and operational systems efficiently to provide dependable telehealth services.

⛳️ Requirements

• MD or DO in psychiatry.

• Active and unrestricted medical practice license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.

• Proficient clinical assessment, diagnostic, and medication management abilities.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

• Comfort with remote care delivery and proficiency in electronic health record systems.

• Dedication to patient-centered, compassionate, and evidence-based care.

• Active DEA registration as an individual practitioner.

• Board-certified or board-eligible in psychiatry.
