Staff Program Manager – Trust & Safety

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee essential Trust & Safety initiatives aimed at minimizing detrimental experiences for our users.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams (such as Product, Engineering, Legal, and others) to proactively identify and address risks to user safety.

• Utilize data-driven methodologies to evaluate program effectiveness and pinpoint areas for enhancement, aligning with broader company goals and business objectives.

• Keep abreast of industry best practices and emerging risks related to new technology products and contexts.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Trust & Safety operations or a similar role.

• Knowledge of content moderation ecosystems, including policy implementation standards and large-scale review systems.

• Proficient in using metrics, dashboards, or reporting tools to detect trends and enhance outcomes.

• Capability to analyze and optimize comprehensive Trust & Safety systems, encompassing policies, review processes, and tools.

• Strong comprehension of online safety topics, such as data privacy, misinformation, and fraud.

• Solid understanding of AI safety concerns, including fairness, accountability, and transparency.

• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Experience engaging with diverse stakeholder groups.

• Proven track record of thriving in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

• Demonstrated capability to navigate a wide array of Trust & Safety projects, quickly adapting to new challenges, policy areas, and operational requirements.
