Staff Product Manager – Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Establish and take charge of the product strategy for essential game systems such as player accounts, compliance, social features, and various other systems.

• Contribute to the development of the social aspects of our games (e.g., referral systems, chat functions, guilds), transforming our games into environments where genuine communities can thrive.

• Cultivate strong working relationships with leadership from both game and partner teams, aligning business objectives with technical execution.

• Navigate complex prioritization decisions when the team faces multiple demands, providing structure and composure amidst competing priorities.

• Align your team's efforts with the overarching platform strategy and effectively communicate progress to senior stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven history of independently managing intricate products from inception to completion, demonstrating effective prioritization in dynamic settings.

• Experience in working with consumer-facing services (accounts, identity, or social systems), preferably at a large scale.

• Sufficient technical knowledge to engage meaningfully with engineers regarding system design and trade-offs, without needing to be the subject matter expert.

• Strong cross-functional instincts that enable you to foster alignment among teams that may not naturally agree, ensuring quality delivery.

• Capability to clarify ambiguous situations with competing priorities, identifying which issues to address first and the rationale behind those decisions.

• Clear and confident communicator with a proven track record of presenting to and influencing senior stakeholders.

• Previous experience in or support of game development (especially in free-to-play mobile or other large-scale consumer applications) is highly preferred.
