Staff Product Manager – Payments

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Develop the product strategy and roadmap for Payments while aligning it with the overall Billing group's roadmaps, establishing a clear direction for the next 18 to 24 months.

• Foster cross-functional collaboration with engineering, design, and product partners, becoming the go-to expert on payments at Jane and eliminating obstacles that hinder other teams' progress when payments intersect with their work.

• Advocate for enhancements to our Stripe integration and payments infrastructure, addressing any gaps that have emerged as the platform has evolved.

• Work directly with senior leadership to convert large, ambiguous challenges into actionable plans and trade-offs that the broader team can support.

• Create significant value for the clinics and patients relying on Payments, uniting stakeholders and leadership across Jane around the benefits we are delivering, aiming to establish Jane Payments as the preferred choice.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of product management experience in the payments sector, preferably at a company utilizing Stripe's platform.

• Background in vertical SaaS within mid-market to enterprise environments, transforming complex payment infrastructures into reliable products for customers.

• Proven experience collaborating closely with engineering teams on technically challenging and ambiguous issues, driving strategy independently without needing a detailed roadmap.

• A demonstrated interest in leveraging AI for enhancing workflows and decision-making, extending beyond basic applications like document summarization or trip planning.

• Experience in healthcare is a plus, though not mandatory, while expertise in payments is crucial.
