This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and articulate a clear strategy for Kard’s data and platform capabilities.
• Transform company objectives into targeted initiatives that balance new product development with platform optimization.
• Lead collaborative efforts with engineering, data, and business partners through Kard’s Shape Up process.
• Define outcomes, risk appetite, evidence, and success metrics.
• Leverage transaction data, machine learning, and platform capabilities to create consumer, merchant, and location intelligence products and business opportunities.
• Enhance personalization, merchant and location insight, contextual decision-making, experimentation, and performance measurement across both batch and real-time systems.
• Establish reusable capabilities for offer decision-making, delivery, matching, measurement, and partner integrations.
• Collaborate with customer-facing product managers to define products and ensure end-to-end outcomes.
• Approach data and developer platforms as products by enhancing self-service, minimizing friction, and evaluating business impact, quality, trust, reliability, and speed.
• Mentor others and improve the overall quality of product thinking.
• Proven experience in leading technically complex data, machine learning, or platform products across diverse teams.
• Demonstrated ability to convert data or foundational technology into quantifiable customer and commercial value.
• Proficiency in data platforms, quality and governance, machine learning lifecycles, batch and real-time serving, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and developer platforms.
• Expertise in experimentation and measurement, including A/B testing, lift or incrementality, in collaboration with data scientists.
• Strong skills in discovery and shaping with both technical users and business stakeholders.
• Capability to validate needs directly with external customers.
• Understanding of marketplace economics and marketing outcomes.
• Ability to influence and provide sound judgment to align executives, leaders, and team members; challenge assumptions in a constructive manner; clarify trade-offs; and commit to a unified direction.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and thoughtful consideration regarding scale, security, privacy, and compliance.
• Dedication to promoting an inclusive work environment and contributing to team development and cohesion.
• Availability during U.S. core business hours and willingness to travel for company meetings.
• Flexible PTO, with a minimum requirement of one day off per quarter, totaling ten days a year, to support mental well-being.
