Senior Software Engineer, Data Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the reliability, resilience, and observability of current performance vendor integrations.

• Provide daily and on-call support to address data gaps and discrepancies.

• Maintain and enhance C# .NET integrations in relation to vendor IoT APIs.

• Proactively investigate issues by collaborating with third-party vendor support teams.

• Document integration processes and disseminate knowledge within the team.

• Lead the design and execution of transitioning C# .NET integrations to Python.

• Write integration data into the modern lakehouse.

• Enhance the integration architecture and security measures for deployment in military IL4 and IL5 environments.

• Contribute to the development of the lakehouse that supports performance data pipelines, customer analytics, machine learning models, and AI agents.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of software engineering experience with a proven mastery of C# and .NET.

• Proven experience in designing and constructing highly scalable distributed architectures on AWS.

• Proficient in Terraform.

• Experience in building or maintaining RESTful API integrations across various systems.

• Proficient understanding of OAuth 2.0, specifically the Authorization Code grant.

• Capability to independently manage technical communications with third-party vendors.

• Proven history of delivering permanent fixes and enhancing the operational health of inherited systems.

• Must be a US citizen.

• Must reside in the US.

• Ability to support tactical and military customers.

• Strong Python skills or a willingness to learn Python.

• Experience with IoT, wearable, or hardware-adjacent APIs is a plus.
