Staff Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +2 more locations.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the Chief Product Officer (CPO) to formulate and execute the product strategy and roadmap, positioning Prism as the leading operating platform for data centers — encompassing diagnostics, triage, and the comprehensive intelligence layer essential for operators and executives.

• Partner with the CPO to convert the platform vision into a structured, fundable roadmap, driving it to completion across various teams.

• Frequently engage with customers through visits and calls to observe Prism in action and gather candid feedback, beyond what is typically escalated.

• Transform on-site customer challenges into precise, high-quality product requirements, ensuring teams remain close to the actual operator context.

• Propel expansion along two fronts — integrating more operational and business systems of the data center, and enhancing our insights & recommendations as well as supervised & autonomous control capabilities.

• Oversee the delivery of critical integrations that link new systems to Prism, facilitating the transition from detection to diagnosis to action.

• Collaborate with Engineering and Design to prioritize and launch platform capabilities that enable broader, safer autonomy.

• Aid in broadening Prism’s user base beyond operational staff to include new stakeholders and buyers, such as facilities and infrastructure leaders at hyperscale and neocloud operators, while partnering with go-to-market and Finance teams on packaging and pricing strategies.

• Create frameworks for prioritization, discovery, and risk management; develop high-quality product artifacts; mentor and coach other Product Managers, and elevate the standard for product practices — including frameworks, artifacts, and discovery rigor — across the team, extending beyond your individual initiatives.

• Take ownership of the metrics that determine success in this role, including adoption rates across new systems and personas, progress along the insight-to-autonomy spectrum, and revenue expansion, utilizing these metrics to inform prioritization and roadmap decisions.

• Gain a thorough understanding of the product architecture and actively participate in technical planning to ensure the strategy aligns with the platform's capabilities.

• Facilitate alignment across teams through effective communication of strategy, decisions, and trade-offs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in technical product management, including leading large-scale, complex, cross-functional projects.

• Comfortable dedicating substantial time to direct interactions with customers or end users, viewing this time as integral to product development rather than a diversion.

• Proven history of advancing a product from a point solution to a platform — or contributing to platform, integration, or data-surface products.

• Outstanding ability to translate customer requirements into strategic product directions and to break down an ambitious vision into actionable, fundable steps.

• Extensive knowledge of prioritization frameworks and decision-making in uncertain environments.

• Strong technical expertise, including a solid understanding of system architecture, integrations/APIs, and data platforms.

• Capability to influence stakeholders at all levels, including leadership, and to unify teams around strategy, decisions, and trade-offs.

• Experience in mentoring and developing fellow product managers.

• Excellent communication skills, capable of elucidating complex concepts to diverse audiences, from operational staff to executive boards, in a fully remote environment.

• Embody our company values: Collaboration, Transparency, Operational Excellence, Ownership, & Empathy.

🏝️ Benefits

• Competitive compensation and substantial equity opportunities.

• Medical, dental, and vision insurance (specific benefits may vary by location).

• Unlimited paid time off, with a minimum requirement of 20 days annually.

• Paid parental leave (exact benefits vary by region).

• Flexible stipends to enhance your workspace, well-being, and ongoing professional development.

• Company-issued MacBook.
