This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Take ownership of your product line's business.
• Be responsible for the key outcomes of your line: adoption, retention, and revenue.
• Connect the major initiatives to the critical metrics that drive success (LTV, retention, acquisition cost, churn) and build a business case for expenditures.
• Develop the strategic direction for your line: determine what to develop, what to discontinue, and what to safeguard when facing opposition.
• Lead the discovery process and address the most challenging issues in your line, managing an end-to-end cycle without leaving unresolved issues for engineering.
• Present high-stakes initiatives to leadership with confidence, and take responsibility for the outcomes.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, sales, and customer success independently, without requiring a manager to facilitate communication.
• Utilize our collective discovery and signal tools, allowing the team to focus on decision-making rather than manual data synthesis.
• Collaborate with the platform team on shared resources essential for your line, including the design system, data, and delivery infrastructure.
• Create reusable AI workflows that enhance your and your team's efficiency and the quality of work.
• Minimum of 8 years in product management within the SaaS sector, including at least 3 years responsible for the outcomes of a product line or area over time, not solely focused on feature delivery.
• Proven ability to influence significant business metrics such as revenue, retention, and adoption, with a comfort level in discussing cost and margin.
• Experience in shaping and presenting high-stakes initiatives to senior leadership, taking ownership of the results.
• Strong technical understanding; capable of reading API documentation, comprehending system limitations, and evaluating technical trade-offs.
• Background in EdTech or other mission-driven products is preferred.
• Experience in K-12 education is a plus.
• Familiarity with Shape Up or a similar appetite-driven working methodology.
