Staff Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Define and take ownership of a cross-functional problem domain or a key platform area that influences outcomes across various product surfaces.

• Foster strategic alignment among product areas. Identify decisions that can remove roadblocks and make them.

• Gather insights from customer interactions, data analysis, support trends, and partner feedback across your entire scope, rather than just your immediate area.

• Create prototypes for cross-functional workflows and concepts personally. The strategy gains credibility when you have already tested it.

• Identify and share leverage. Develop AI workflows, frameworks, and patterns that other Product Managers on the team can adopt.

• Mentor and challenge Senior Product Managers. Elevate the overall function, not just your individual output.

• Represent the product perspective in discussions with senior leadership and contribute to decisions that impact multiple teams.

• Influence how the Product Management function operates, including discovery processes, quality definitions, and success measurements.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6-8+ years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of operating across various product areas or overseeing a foundational platform.

• Proven ability to facilitate cross-functional alignment without direct authority, collaborating across engineering, design, data, and go-to-market teams.

• A systems thinker who recognizes second-order effects and addresses them before they escalate into issues.

• Capable of managing both strategy and execution simultaneously. You do not relinquish details when the scope expands.

• A history of mentoring and uplifting other Product Managers, in addition to delivering your own work.

• Strong analytical skills. You can conduct your own analyses, establish the appropriate metrics, and identify when data conveys a misleading narrative.

• Familiarity with AI tools and actively seeking new methods to enhance your coverage through their use.

• Effective communicator at the executive level. You can clearly articulate a complex problem and present recommendations to senior stakeholders.
