Staff Product Manager, AI Patient Experience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Take charge of AI-driven patient intake and therapist matching: create LLM-based workflows that comprehend patient requirements and suggest the appropriate provider.

• Develop AI support tools for between sessions: customized resources that assist patients in reflecting, preparing, and establishing therapeutic routines.

• Set up evaluation and safety frameworks: produce evaluations, develop testing suites, design red-teaming strategies, and implement human-in-the-loop escalation processes.

• Enhance outcome measurement: transition from PHQ-9/GAD-7 to AI-informed assessment methods.

• Collaborate with Engineering, ML, Data Science, Clinical, and Legal teams to deliver AI products within a HIPAA-compliant framework.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of PM experience, including a minimum of 2 years delivering AI/ML-powered products to actual customers.

• You have actively authored evaluations for AI product quality.

• You have created multi-step LLM-driven user flows that are currently in production.

• Strong technical knowledge of LLMs: model selection, RAG architectures, fine-tuning, and considerations of cost, latency, and quality.

• You are a creator who has successfully launched AI products in collaboration with ML engineers.

• Bonus: Experience in regulated sectors such as healthcare, fintech, or insurance.

• Bonus: Background in healthcare or mental health.

• You recognize that developing AI solutions for individuals managing their mental health necessitates a heightened level of care and safety.
