Staff Product Designer – Core Treatments

Posted 1 hour ago

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the design for key treatment categories from start to finish—covering intake through ongoing care—with a distinct perspective on the desired experience.

• Independently lead significant and intricate projects. Identify the issues, establish the direction, and guide the team effectively.

• Transform clinical intricacies into experiences that are perceived as clear, soothing, and human—rather than clinical. Given the sensitive nature of these categories, the design must quickly establish trust.

• Actively incorporate AI tools into your workflow: for faster prototyping, enhanced research synthesis, generative ideation, and interaction exploration. We value your experimentation with various tools and finding what suits you best.

• Elevate the standards of what's achievable. It's not just about ensuring "this flow works," but about creating "an experience that leaves a lasting impression."

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Research, and Clinical teams to navigate challenging trade-offs. Be the individual who enhances the work by being a part of the conversation.

• Contribute to the development of design systems and shared patterns. Your contributions should elevate the overall quality for the entire team.

• Mentor others and help cultivate the culture within the design organization. Lead by example in craftsmanship, processes, and providing constructive feedback.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years in product design focusing on consumer-facing products, with clear demonstrations of managing complex, high-stakes experiences from start to finish.

• A holistic approach to design thinking—you seamlessly navigate between system-level strategy and pixel-level detail. Both aspects engage you.

• Strong user experience instincts in sensitive or high-trust environments—such as health, finance, and identity. You excel at designing for individuals who may feel anxious or uncertain.

• Proficient in utilizing AI as a practitioner. You already integrate AI tools in your daily tasks—whether for prototyping, ideation, or research synthesis—and possess a clear viewpoint on what is genuinely effective versus mere hype.

• Outstanding communication skills. You can guide a group through challenging design decisions, ensuring they understand the rationale behind them.

• Expert-level proficiency in Figma. You work quickly, cleanly, and in a systematic manner.

• Comfortable with ambiguity and possess a proactive approach. You do not wait for the perfect brief to take action.

🏝️ Benefits

• Competitive salary and equity compensation for full-time positions.

• Unlimited paid time off (PTO), company holidays, and quarterly mental health days.

• Comprehensive health benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and parental leave.

• Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP).

• 401k benefits with employer matching contributions.

• Offsite team retreats.
