Design and Engineering Site Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct engineering evaluations of various configurations, including reviewing work products for accuracy, compliance with the design concept and customer standards, and progress in line with schedules.

• Collaborate with the Project and/or Program Manager to ensure problem resolution and user satisfaction, and with the Lead Engineer regarding network architecture and design choices.

• Recommend approval for significant systems installations.

• Create milestone status reports and deliver presentations on the system concept to peers, subordinates, and representatives of end users.

• Follow U.S. Army engineering protocols during the preparation of all submissions; identify any additional processes and documentation formats as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• BA/BS in a technical field with a minimum of 10 years of experience in a comparable position.

• Cisco CCNA certification.

• Proficiency and familiarity with the design and configuration of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networks, including spanning tree, software-defined networking, VLANs, Virtual Network Identifiers (VNIs), VXLANs, VRFs, hostnames, and OEM equipment from Cisco.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Capability to collaborate effectively with team members of diverse abilities, backgrounds, and skill sets.

• Demonstrated ability to deliver products on time or ahead of schedule.
