• Navigating trade-offs and steering strategic choices in a decisive manner.

• Continually elevating the standards for design craftsmanship and product excellence at Monzo, ensuring that your contributions serve as a benchmark for quality and innovation both within the organization and the industry.

• Collaborating with cross-functional leaders to define and implement product strategies that translate into actionable plans that you help develop and deliver.

• Proactively tackling systemic challenges, simplifying complexities, and fostering improved conditions for teams to produce significant work.

• Serving as a prominent advocate for Design, showcasing your work and its impact throughout the company to uphold Design’s pivotal role at Monzo.

• Mentoring and enhancing the skills of designers across the discipline, nurturing a culture of growth, collaboration, and inclusivity.

• You are a master of your craft, possessing deep expertise in a specific design discipline along with strong foundational skills across all facets of product design.

• You have a demonstrated history of producing high-impact design work that drives customer results, influences company metrics, and fulfills commercial objectives.

• You possess exceptional visual, UI, and interaction skills, along with the capability to navigate complex interaction design challenges.

• You are eager to continue advancing your craft and expanding your knowledge of new tools, methodologies, and technologies.

• You excel in ambiguous situations, guiding teams to achieve results in complex, rapidly changing environments while upholding a high standard for quality.

• You are a strategic thinker capable of shaping product direction across various areas and converting organizational goals into clear, actionable plans.
