This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the complete design process for a vital product component, showcasing high standards of design practices across all stages of product development including research and discovery, facilitation, strategy, ideation, interaction design, visual execution, launch, and testing.
• Experiment with and utilize AI tools and emerging technologies to optimize design workflows, automate routine tasks, and improve overall design process efficiency.
• Formulate and implement thorough research strategies through user interviews, usability testing, and market analysis to validate design solutions and guide strategic decisions, while clearly documenting insights and recommendations for stakeholders.
• Design wireframes, high-fidelity prototypes, and functional prototypes that effectively communicate design concepts, while ensuring seamless design-to-development transitions by expediting the translation of designs into code.
• Work in close collaboration with cross-functional teams to convert user needs into technically viable solutions, championing optimal user experiences throughout the development cycle.
• Promote user-centered design during roadmap planning and strategic discussions, ensuring satisfactory user experiences while balancing business goals and technical limitations.
• Oversee the maintenance of our design system; guarantee accessibility, performance, and scalability across various platforms.
• Provide mentorship to senior and intermediate designers while fostering a culture of design excellence and continuous learning within the organization.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Design, Computer Science, Psychology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certifications in AI design tools, design systems, or front-end development methodologies.
• Certification in UX/UI design methodologies or design thinking processes.
• Over 8 years of extensive product design experience with significant contributions to the design of multiple enterprise systems.
• Proven experience in leading complex, multi-team design projects with measurable business impact, as demonstrated by a strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design solutions.
• Experience working in Agile development environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and stakeholders, to achieve project objectives.
• Experience in the property and casualty insurance industry.
