This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
• Act as the certification authority for security standards such as SESIP, FIPS 140-3, PSA, and ISA/SAE 21434, as well as safety standards including ISO 26262 and ISO/IEC 62443.
• Enhance PQShield’s certification approach to pinpoint overlaps and research and development opportunities, including formal verification.
• Take full ownership of the certification process from beginning to end, liaising with testing laboratories and both internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with architects, validation engineers, and the product security team to guide and manage requirements.
• Engage in standardization organizations.
• Keep track of industry groups and competitors.
• Develop soft IP into certifiable products, such as on FPGA, to demonstrate certifiability to clients.
• Articulate and showcase certifiability to customers.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience is preferred/expected for this position.
• A degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• A proven history of successfully certifying complex security IP products throughout their entire lifecycle.
• Experience with industry standards related to hardware security.
• Familiarity with hardware security certifications.
• A strong comprehension of the semiconductor certification ecosystem, security IP market trends, and associated technologies.
• A commitment to quality and meticulous attention to detail.
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a relevant discipline.
• Proficient in using Atlassian JIRA.
• Proficient in using HubSpot.
• Preferred: familiarity with industry-standard SoC security architectures.
• Preferred: knowledge of tamper resistance and/or power side-channel security countermeasures.
• Preferred: experience with secure element or smart card designs.
• Preferred: experience with GitLab CI or principles of continuous integration and testing.
• Preferred: familiarity with FPGA EDA design flow.
