Staff Platform Manager, Quality

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Advocate for the Mission: Gain a deep understanding of, synthesize insights, and champion the needs of QAs, Team Leads, Agents, and other Operations Management.

• Lead Quality Tooling Strategy: Steer the strategy and implementation for Airbnb's quality tooling platform.

• Develop and Implement the Quality Roadmap: Create the prioritization framework for our quality capabilities.

• Enhance Scale Through Technology: Oversee end-to-end automation solutions that improve service quality at scale.

• Integrate Quality with the Overall Agent Lifecycle: Collaborate with Coaching and Supervisor Tooling teams to ensure quality data serves as a connected, high-signal input across the agent performance ecosystem.

⛳️ Requirements

• 9+ years of experience in product management. Previous experience with quality, operations, or data-driven tooling is advantageous.

• Extensive knowledge of ML or AI-powered products. Demonstrated ability to independently enhance models, evaluate performance trade-offs, establish evaluation frameworks, and ensure automation quality in close collaboration with engineering.

• Proven track record of delivering results in cross-functional organizations with various stakeholders and interdependencies, even in ambiguous and complex situations.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; a data-driven mindset for prioritization and decision-making. Utilizes data to assess and continuously enhance their product and achieve business objectives.

• Capable of adjusting communication style based on the audience. Quickly grasps technical concepts and conveys them to a non-technical audience.

• Experience in making strategic capability decisions in a dynamic product environment, including building consensus on trade-offs for the short, mid, and long-term.

• Self-driven, proactive, and results-focused.
