Staff Pharmacist – Refill Call Center

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Collect relevant information from incoming calls regarding medications.

• Respond to inquiries related to medications, including questions, issues, prior authorizations, and refill approvals.

• Conduct a medication review during the call and complete a clinical assessment.

• Establish a collaborative practice agreement with health system physicians.

• Examine patient medication profiles to prevent drug sensitivities, contraindications, duplications, and significant drug interactions.

• Record encounters within the electronic medical record and authorize prescription refills electronically.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (Required).

• Doctoral Degree (Preferred).

• At least 4 years of relevant work experience (Required).

• Licensed Pharmacist in Pennsylvania within 90 days.
