Staff Network Integration Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the installation, configuration, and complete integration of EPC, 5GC, MME, IMS, HSS, and DRA within both cloud and on-premises environments.

• Integrate and set up the Entitlement Server for device authentication and OTA provisioning services in accordance with GSMA standards.

• Configure and validate S6a, S8, Diameter, and IPX signaling and roaming interfaces.

• Initiate global MNO/MVNO partner integrations and establish roaming hub capabilities.

• Facilitate core/RAN integration projects across QA, staging, and production environments.

• Assist in KYC subscriber verification processes with core/BSS systems for compliant onboarding, as well as SIM/eSIM activation and identity validation.

• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines utilizing Jenkins and ArgoCD/GitOps.

• Employ Terraform and Ansible for the automation of software deployments.

• Create and execute MOPs and rollback strategies for deployments, upgrades, and configuration modifications.

• Implement element-level metrics, health alarms, and real-time dashboards using Prometheus, Grafana, OpenObserve, and OTel.

• Lead technical integration projects and enhance communication between R&D, field deployment, and network operations.

• Champion standardized architecture across operational network stacks.

• Enhance zero-touch software rollouts and ensure high availability in live environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years in 3GPP 4G LTE EPC and 5G Core network architectures, parameters, and service flows.

• Practical experience in configuring and troubleshooting Diameter, S6a, and S8 protocol stacks.

• At least 6 years of experience in Python/Bash scripting, Linux administration, CI/CD toolchains, Jenkins, ArgoCD/GitOps, and Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks such as Terraform and Ansible.

• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure, including EC2, EKS, VPC, IAM, and CloudWatch.

• Production experience in deploying and managing containerized network functions.

• Familiarity with SMSC and messaging architecture, including SMPP and SS7 MAP protocols.

• Comprehensive understanding of Entitlement Server frameworks and OTA provisioning standards, specifically GSMA/TS.43.

• Demonstrated experience in authoring and executing MOPs, rollback procedures, and change-governance runbooks in production telecom settings.

• Experience in building monitoring and alerting pipelines using Prometheus, Grafana, OpenObserve, and OTel.

• Proven ability to collaborate across design, testing, deployment, and operations in a telecom or satellite NTN environment.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
