Staff Machine Learning Engineer

📋 Description

• Develop and execute efficient and scalable machine learning pipelines for various insurance applications.

• Collaborate across different teams and act as a technical mentor for junior colleagues.

• Offer mentorship and support to enhance team performance and technical expertise.

• Maintain production-level deployment standards with a focus on scalability, reliability, and adherence to insurance data regulations.

• Strike a balance between rapid development and system stability.

• Create reusable, modular infrastructure components and CI/CD pipelines for machine learning and large language model tasks.

• Facilitate quick experimentation and smooth transitions from research to production stages.

• Advocate for best practices in observability, testing, and monitoring of machine learning systems.

• Set standards for model and data drift detection, logging, and automated rollback procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or in a comparable position.

• Significant experience in utilizing large language models over the past 2 years.

• Proficiency in designing scalable and robust machine learning pipelines for both classical systems and large language model applications.

• Understanding of automating and overseeing machine learning workflows to guarantee consistent model performance in production environments.

• Practical experience with cloud platforms, including deploying models, managing cloud resources, and utilizing relevant APIs for data intake, storage, and processing.

• Excellent communication skills with the capacity to present complex insights to non-technical stakeholders.
