
Staff Lifecycle Marketing Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of the communications strategy throughout the lifecycle for GitLab prospects, managing everything from planning and segmentation to execution and optimization.
• Collaborate closely with teams in Campaigns, Marketing Operations, Data Analytics, Product Marketing, Field, and Events to prioritize and execute programs that engage prospects and advance them through the buyer lifecycle.
• Lead strategic initiatives while remaining actively involved in copywriting, segmentation, quality assurance, testing, launching, and reporting.
• Leverage data-driven insights and ongoing testing to enhance prospect engagement, funnel progression, and revenue increase.
• Help establish the standard for the team's approach to email as a communication channel.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in lifecycle, email, CRM, or growth marketing within a B2B SaaS technology firm, ideally targeting enterprise IT buyers and software developer personas.
• Demonstrated expertise in developing and optimizing nurture programs, automated journeys, and lifecycle campaigns that facilitate prospect education, engagement, and advancement through the funnel.
• Proficient in Marketo for marketing automation, with strong skills in audience segmentation (smartlists) and the application of email templates, Marketo modules, and dynamic content.
• Proven experience in utilizing campaign and funnel performance data to identify areas for improvement, make strategic recommendations, and enhance outcomes.
• Excellent internal communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
• Meticulous attention to detail in audience logic, segmentation, quality assurance, localization, and reporting.
• Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS for email design and troubleshooting purposes.
• Additional experience working with teams across various regions and localizing for different markets is a plus.
