Staff IT Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and maintain internal platforms, tools, and automation to enhance the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of IT operations.

• Take ownership of technical frameworks related to identity, access management, lifecycle automation, endpoint trust, SaaS provisioning, and operational reporting.

• Create scripts, integrations, and services utilizing Python, Bash, REST APIs, webhooks, Git, GitHub, and CI/CD methodologies.

• Collaborate with Engineering, Information Security, Compliance, and various business teams to facilitate AI-driven operations, implement Zero Trust architecture, adhere to HIPAA standards, meet SOC 2 criteria, and support secure AI initiatives.

• Employ DevOps, SRE, and ITIL-aligned practices to enhance monitoring, change management, incident response, documentation, and ongoing improvement processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in IT engineering, infrastructure engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, systems engineering, or a related technical field.

• Proficient scripting or software development experience with Python, Bash, or similar programming languages.

• Experience in building integrations using REST APIs, webhooks, JSON, service accounts, and API authentication methodologies.

• Extensive experience with identity and endpoint management platforms such as Okta, Jamf Pro, Microsoft Intune, Google Workspace, or Microsoft 365.

• Strong knowledge of least privilege access, device trust, conditional access, non-human identity governance, auditability, and Zero Trust principles.
