IT Infrastructure Installation Services II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Execute and manage complex server and network deployments independently, supporting enterprise-level physical security systems.

• Take charge of installation projects, configure sophisticated infrastructure components, and resolve technical challenges.

• Ensure smooth integration among servers, network devices, and security endpoints.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including installers of physical security systems and operational support teams.

• Mentor junior engineers and provide 24x7 support in a globally distributed setting.

• Lead hardware provisioning efforts, including advanced RAID configurations and optimizing disk arrays.

• Configure and verify Integrated Dell Remote Access Controller (iDRAC) settings, ensuring adherence to corporate standards.

• Design and implement network segmentation strategies utilizing VLANs and dedicated subnets to isolate physical security traffic.

• Set up Quality of Service (QoS) policies on Cisco switches to prioritize high-bandwidth video streams.

• Oversee Power over Ethernet (PoE/PoE+) monitoring on access layer switches.

• Apply network device hardening best practices on Cisco IOS devices.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in deploying enterprise server and network infrastructure.

• Strong proficiency in Dell PowerEdge server platforms, including RAID controllers (PERC), iDRAC configuration, firmware management, and Lifecycle Controller operations.

• Expertise in Cisco networking technologies, including Catalyst switches, VLAN configuration, QoS implementation, PoE management, and security hardening for IOS.

• Solid experience in deploying, administering, and troubleshooting Windows Server and Linux operating systems in enterprise environments.

• Working knowledge of scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) and automation tools for configuration management and deployment acceleration.

• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical teams and mentor junior engineers while operating in 24x7 rotational support models.
