IT Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Oversee various IT projects concurrently within the Sumer Group.

• Create and uphold project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource distributions.

• Direct project governance tasks such as status reporting, RAID management, and updates for steering groups.

• Collaborate with internal technical teams, external vendors, and business stakeholders.

• Guarantee that projects are completed on schedule, within defined scope, and budget constraints.

• Facilitate workshops, sessions for gathering requirements, and meetings for project planning.

• Manage project-related risks, dependencies, and issues until resolution.

• Assist in technology integration efforts associated with acquisitions and the onboarding of new companies.

• Supervise infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, and business application projects.

• Ensure that adequate change management and user adoption initiatives are executed.

• Generate project documentation, including business cases, project charters, implementation plans, and post-project evaluations.

• Monitor project benefits and assist in the seamless transition to operational support teams.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of project management standards, templates, and governance processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in delivering IT projects within medium or large organizations.

• Comprehensive understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid models.

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects at once.

• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication abilities.

• Experience collaborating with external suppliers and managed service providers.

• Strong skills in planning, organization, and risk management.

• Experience in developing executive-level reports and presentations.

• Capability to convert technical concepts into business terminology.

• Experience in professional services, accounting, legal, or financial services organizations (Desirable).

• Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, and Entra ID (Desirable).

• Experience in delivering cybersecurity projects (Desirable).

• Experience in supporting mergers, acquisitions, or business integrations (Desirable).

• PRINCE2 Practitioner, AgilePM, PMP, or an equivalent certification (Desirable).

• Familiarity with ITIL principles (Desirable).
