Staff Infrastructure Software Engineer – Kubernetes

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with engineers to develop developer tools that enhance workflows and deployment infrastructure.

• Maintain the reliability of multi-cloud Kubernetes clusters and their associated pipelines.

• Implement metrics, logging, analytics, and alerting for performance and security across all endpoints and applications.

• Utilize infrastructure-as-code deployment tools and support services across several cloud providers.

• Automate operational processes and engineering tasks, concentrating on automation to allocate resources effectively.

• Create machine learning infrastructure that empowers AI teams to train, test, and deploy on extensive datasets.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.

• Strong expertise in programming languages such as Golang or Python.

• In-depth knowledge of container security best practices.

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and a thorough understanding of the Kubernetes ecosystem, including popular open-source tools like cert-manager or external-dns. Experience with GPU-enabled clusters is a plus.

• Practical experience with Kubernetes templating tools such as Helm or Kustomize.

• Proven experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

• Experience in working with AWS and its services, including IAM, S3, EC2, and EKS.

• Familiarity with other cloud platforms like Google Cloud and Azure is advantageous.

• Experience with database systems such as PostgreSQL.

• Knowledge of GitOps tools such as Flux or Argo.

• Familiarity with CI/CD practices, specifically using GitHub Actions.
