Staff Infrastructure Software Engineer, Kubernetes

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with engineers to develop tools that enhance developer workflows and deployment infrastructure.

• Maintain the reliability of multi-cloud Kubernetes clusters and deployment pipelines.

• Implement metrics, logging, analytics, and alerting for performance and security across all endpoints and applications.

• Create infrastructure-as-code deployment tools and supporting services across various cloud providers.

• Streamline operations and engineering through automation, allowing us to focus our efforts where they are most impactful.

• Develop machine learning infrastructure that empowers AI teams to train, test, and deploy using large-scale datasets.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.

• Strong expertise in programming languages such as Golang or Python.

• In-depth knowledge of container security best practices.

• Hands-on production experience with Kubernetes and a solid understanding of the Kubernetes ecosystem, including widely-used open-source tools like cert-manager or external-dns. Experience with GPU-enabled clusters is advantageous.

• Practical experience with Kubernetes templating tools such as Helm or Kustomize.

• Proven experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IAC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

• Real-world experience with AWS services, including IAM, S3, EC2, and EKS.

• Familiarity with other cloud providers such as Google Cloud and Azure is a plus.

• Experience with database systems like PostgreSQL.

• Knowledge of GitOps tools such as Flux or Argo.

• Experience with CI/CD processes using platforms like GitHub Actions.
