Staff Fullstack Engineer, Backend Focus

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

• Take complete ownership of backend architecture for a new product from inception to deployment.

• Create data structures and system architecture for a customer-oriented product designed for scalability.

• Develop and sustain backend services and APIs.

• Contribute to front-end development when necessary.

• Strong fundamentals in backend development: databases, data structures, asynchronous programming, and system design.

• Proficient across the technology stack: solid front-end capabilities.

• Possess a real sense of product development: ideally created for actual end users with a genuine customer-facing (B2C) product.

• Technology-agnostic: experienced with multiple technology stacks.

• Demonstrated ownership: a background in initiating projects from the ground up.

• Experience in startup environments, preferably in truly chaotic settings.

• Significant fluency with AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code).
