
Staff Enterprise Applications Developer – IBM Maximo

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Evaluate intricate business challenges and convert them into effective solutions utilizing Maximo.
• Design, develop, and provide support for applications on the IBM Maximo platform.
• Engage in all stages of the software development lifecycle, from gathering requirements to deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Create and maintain integrations with enterprise systems using Web Services, REST/SOAP, and the Maximo Integration Framework.
• Enhance Maximo through configurations, workflows, automation scripts, MBO customizations, and BIRT reporting.
• Diagnose and resolve issues across applications, integrations, workflows, and reporting.
• Develop validation documents, test plans, and execute test cases to ensure quality assurance.
• Keep system documentation updated, including design specifications and user manuals.
• Provide mentorship to team members and foster a culture of continuous learning.
• Build robust relationships with business and IT stakeholders.
• Occasionally assist with integrations involving data platforms (e.g., BigQuery) and reporting tools such as Tableau.
• Support AVEVA PI content creation and troubleshooting as needed.
• Extensive experience with IBM Maximo, including implementation, configuration, and customization.
• Strong comprehension of Maximo architecture, encompassing Application Designer, workflows, schemas, and integration frameworks.
• Proficient in Python, Jython, JavaScript, SQL, and XML for automation and integration tasks.
• Experience in developing complex BIRT reports and implementing workflow processes.
• Comfortable working with REST/JSON integrations across enterprise systems.
• Solid understanding of database systems (especially DB2) and HTML.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and effective communicator who thrives in a team environment.
• Bonus if you have experience with Maximo Scheduler, Work Centers, or MAS 9+.
• Bonus if you are familiar with GxP regulations and validation requirements (e.g., FDA 21 CFR Part 11, EU Annex 11).
