Staff Engineer, ServiceNow – AI Ops, Event Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +2 more locations.

📋 Description

• Design, create, implement, and maintain ServiceNow AIOps and Event Management solutions in accordance with ServiceNow best practices.

• Configure and enhance ServiceNow AIOps capabilities for critical business applications and infrastructure.

• Implement Event Management solutions, which include alert ingestion, alert correlation, and noise reduction strategies.

• Develop and sustain integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise monitoring tools.

• Build and improve platform capabilities utilizing JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer, and Integration Hub.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to collect requirements and design efficient ITOM solutions.

• Configure and tailor ServiceNow applications to fulfill business requirements.

• Conduct integration testing to ensure high-quality delivery of solutions.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to applications, integrations, and the platform.

• Support platform upgrades, deployments, and initiatives for continuous improvement.

• Ensure compliance with ServiceNow development standards, governance, and security best practices.

• Participate in design and code reviews while offering technical recommendations.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5.5 years of experience in relevant fields.

• Extensive experience in ServiceNow AIOps, Event Management, and ITOM.

• Practical experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining ServiceNow AIOps solutions.

• Robust development experience in ServiceNow with JavaScript, Glide APIs, Business Rules, Client Scripts, and Script Includes.

• Familiarity with Flow Designer, Integration Hub, Update Sets, and Scoped Applications.

• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Event Management and alert correlation functionalities.

• Experience integrating ServiceNow with monitoring and observability tools like SolarWinds, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, or similar platforms.

• Strong understanding of IT Operations Management (ITOM) processes and best practices.

• Experience working with REST and SOAP APIs for integrations.

• Ability to convert business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• ServiceNow certifications in ITOM, Event Management, or AIOps are a valuable asset.
