Staff Engineer, Salesforce Sales & Service Cloud

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Developing and assessing high-quality code.

• Thoroughly comprehending functional requirements and evaluating client needs within the project context.

• Ensuring that solutions comply with Salesforce best practices, governor limits, performance optimization, and scalability standards.

• Engaging in the complete development lifecycle, encompassing requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and post-production support.

• Collaborating effectively with Business Analysts, Architects, QA teams, and Product Owners to deliver comprehensive solutions.

• Acting as a trusted advisor by addressing functional and technical inquiries, suggesting optimal solution strategies, and mentoring junior developers.

• Assisting in the planning and design of new solutions to align business requirements with Salesforce Health Cloud architecture and best practices.

• Envisioning the overall solution for specified functional and non-functional requirements and defining technologies, patterns, and frameworks to implement it.

• Determining and applying design methodologies and toolsets.

• Facilitating application development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities.

• Capable of leading/supporting UAT and production rollouts.

• Creating, understanding, and validating WBS and estimated effort for specific modules/tasks and justifying them.

• Addressing issues promptly and responding positively to setbacks and challenges with a mindset focused on continuous improvement.

• Providing constructive feedback to team members and establishing clear expectations.

• Delivering scalable, high-quality solutions that meet performance, security, and compliance standards, including HIPAA requirements where applicable.

• Assisting the team in troubleshooting and resolving complex bugs.

• Proposing solutions to issues raised during code/design reviews and justifying the decisions made.

• Conducting POCs to ensure that recommended designs/technologies fulfill the requirements.


⛳️ Requirements

• Total Experience: 6+ years.

• Must have hands-on experience with Salesforce core platform (SFDC) capabilities.

• Ability to customize Salesforce using Apex Classes, Triggers, Batch Apex, Scheduled Apex, and platform events.

• Proficient in developing modern Salesforce UI utilizing Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Aura Components.

• Strong expertise in Sales Cloud features, including Leads, Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities, Forecasting, and Activity Management.

• In-depth experience with Service Cloud features such as Case Management, Service Console, Queues, Entitlements, Escalations, and Omni-Channel.

• Proficient in implementing Salesforce automation through Flows, Validation Rules, Assignment Rules, Approval Processes, and Email Alerts.

• Capable of designing and developing integrations with REST/SOAP APIs, Named Credentials, External Services, and middleware platforms.

• Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, relationships, and schema design.

• Expertise in Salesforce security model, including Profiles, Permission Sets, Sharing Rules, and Role Hierarchy.

• Responsible for creating and maintaining technical documentation, design artifacts, and deployment notes.

• Hands-on experience with Salesforce deployment and DevOps tools such as Copado, Change Sets, Git, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins.

• Actively participating in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, grooming, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

• Troubleshooting and resolving production issues while providing ongoing application support.

• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact directly with business stakeholders.

• Exposure to Experience Cloud, CTI integrations, Omni-Channel, or Einstein features.

• Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I (preferred), Platform Developer II, Sales Cloud Consultant, or Service Cloud Consultant.

• Familiarity with Salesforce automation testing tools or CI/CD pipelines.
