Staff Engineer, Salesforce Health Cloud

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Writing and reviewing high-quality code.

• Thoroughly understanding functional requirements and analyzing the client’s needs in relation to the project.

• Serving as a trusted advisor by addressing both functional and technical inquiries, recommending optimal solution strategies, and mentoring junior developers.

• Assisting in the planning and design of new solutions by aligning business requirements with Salesforce Health Cloud architecture and established best practices.

• Envisioning the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements, and being capable of specifying technologies, patterns, and frameworks to implement it.

• Determining and applying design methodologies and tool sets.

• Facilitating application development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities.

• Leading or supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production rollouts.

• Creating, understanding, and validating Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and estimated effort for assigned modules/tasks, with the ability to justify these estimates.

• Promptly addressing issues and responding positively to setbacks and challenges with a continuous improvement mindset.

• Providing constructive feedback to team members and setting clear expectations.

• Delivering scalable and high-quality solutions that comply with performance, security, and regulatory standards, including HIPAA requirements where applicable.

• Assisting the team in troubleshooting and resolving complex bugs.

• Proposing solutions to any issues raised during code/design reviews and being able to justify the decisions made.

• Conducting Proofs of Concept (POCs) to ensure that proposed designs and technologies meet the requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Total Experience: 5.5+ years

• A key role in designing and developing Salesforce Health Cloud solutions, focusing on care plans, patient profiles, assessments, care teams, and health timelines.

• Ability to collaborate closely with business stakeholders to translate healthcare requirements into scalable Salesforce technical designs.

• Strong hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and Salesforce configuration best practices.

• Up-to-date knowledge of Salesforce Health Cloud capabilities, Salesforce releases, and healthcare industry standards such as FHIR, HL7, and EHR integrations.

• Application of Health Cloud and Salesforce platform best practices to ensure scalable, secure, and compliant implementations.

• Experience in effectively communicating with users, other technical teams, and management to gather requirements, describe software product features, and outline technical designs.

• A passion for building exceptional solutions.

• Mentoring team members to meet client needs and holding them accountable for high delivery standards.

• Ability to understand and relate technology integration scenarios and apply these insights in complex troubleshooting situations.
