Staff Engineer – Issuing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop and manage high-performance services utilizing Rust

• Take ownership of essential processes in the issuing workflow (authorization, clearing, ledger)

• Create systems designed for low latency, high dependability, and fault tolerance

• Troubleshoot complex production issues related to real money transactions

• Maintain system integrity and accuracy across all transaction processes

• Influence architectural decisions across various teams

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with distributed systems

• Strong grasp of concurrency, consistency, and fault tolerance principles

• Familiarity with high-reliability systems (fintech, infrastructure, etc.) is an advantage

• Proficient in Rust or readiness to deeply engage with it

• Practical approach and excellent debugging capabilities
