Staff Engineer – DevSecOps

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with product teams to incorporate DevSecOps practices into workflows and foster DevOps adoption throughout the organization.

• Design, implement, and oversee secure CI/CD pipelines, automating security processes and integrating them into delivery frameworks.

• Perform security assessments and audits of systems and applications.

• Create and maintain security documentation and best practices.

• Develop reusable solutions, patterns, and shared libraries for CI/CD pipelines to accelerate builds and deployments.

• Work alongside cross-functional teams to ensure secure and efficient software delivery and provide consultation on DevSecOps requirements for various applications.

• Diagnose and resolve issues within the DevSecOps space while promoting continuous improvement.

• Mentor and guide engineers on DevSecOps principles, automation, and secure coding practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of IT experience, including more than 3 years with DevSecOps tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, Artifactory, Jira, Confluence, SonarQube, Terraform, GitHub Actions, and Git.

• More than 3 years of scripting or coding experience, preferably in Groovy or Python.

• Strong understanding of Azure Cloud, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).

• Knowledge of security tools and practices (SAST, DAST, vulnerability management).

• Experience with compliance and audit procedures.

• Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and collaboration abilities.

• Capability to effectively convey technical information across various organizational levels.
