This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the engineering team by leveraging data and relevant technology.
• Take full ownership of solutions throughout the entire lifecycle while employing strong problem-solving skills.
• Collaborate and shape the vision with product managers, team members, customers, and other engineering teams to address complex challenges in developing enterprise-class business applications.
• Ensure accountability for the quality, usability, and performance of solutions.
• Facilitate design sessions and code reviews to enhance engineering quality across the organization.
• Employ programming languages and databases (.NET, SQL, NoSQL), Container Orchestration services (Docker and Kubernetes), and various Azure tools and services throughout the Software Development Lifecycle.
• Implement software delivery in an Agile environment (Scrum/Kanban/SAFe) for continuous delivery, infrastructure as code, PowerShell scripting, Operation Portals (including Azure Portal), and Monitoring Portals (including Splunk and Application Insights).
• Guide junior team members in data and relevant technology.
• Disseminate best practices and enhance processes both within and across teams.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in data software development, programming languages, and working with big data technologies.
• Three (3) years of experience in designing and developing on existing and new data applications, as well as Cloud DevOps Concepts, Cloud Services and Architecture, and Azure/AWS/GCP DevOps Operational Framework.
• Two (2) years of experience in designing and building solutions focused on data security, data quality and observability, metadata management, data lineage, data discovery, and expertise in one of the following: open-source frameworks, .NET CORE, ASP.NET, Angular, or Express.
