This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, develop, maintain, and utilize data pipelines, models, reporting, and dashboards to address business challenges or assigned tasks in collaboration with various teams.
• Create and sustain data solutions to facilitate new or existing initiatives and BI development for the data warehouse and data visualization tools.
• Improve and document workflows for intricate data-related issues by recognizing patterns, trends, and anomalies in the data, while identifying methods to optimize data processing and storage to enhance data quality through automation.
• Gain expertise in different WellSky solutions and become a subject matter expert within the healthcare sector.
• Spot opportunities during code reviews and contribute to the establishment of best practices and coding standards.
• Uphold WellSky's core values, ensure the security of PHI data, and adapt to evolving BI technologies.
• Utilize AI tools and platforms as a fundamental aspect of daily tasks to enhance decision-making, streamline processes, and drive data-informed results.
• Execute additional job responsibilities as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 4-6 years of relevant professional experience.
• Proficient SQL skills with practical experience in developing and supporting data pipelines and data warehouse solutions.
• Familiarity with SQL Server data integration and ETL development (including SSIS or similar tools).
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms and services, ideally within GCP environments.
• Background in Snowflake data warehouse development and management (preferred).
• Experience with DBT for ELT/ETL processes, data modeling, testing, and documentation (preferred).
• Expertise in GCP, particularly with Cloud SQL, BigQuery, and DataStream (preferred).
• Experience with data replication tools like HVR (or similar CDC/replication technologies) (preferred).
• Background in supporting BI/reporting environments such as Tableau through well-modeled, high-performance datasets (preferred).
• Experience in the healthcare industry (preferred).
