Senior Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Convert data into actionable insights that drive revenue growth, enhance operational efficiency, and aid in strategic planning.

• Identify and assist in the creation of scalable data tools that enhance the transformation, management, and accessibility of data—thereby decreasing time to insight.

• Develop predictive and forecasting models to bolster revenue growth, marketing effectiveness, and improved customer experiences.

• Oversee analytics and modeling projects that convert organizational data into concise, data-driven recommendations.

• Create and sustain interactive dashboards and reports that align with key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Utilize modern tools and techniques to effectively analyze, visualize, and communicate data trends.

• Collaborate with business teams to facilitate operational improvements and growth initiatives, defining measurable outcomes.

• Generate both executive-level summaries and detailed analytical reports, featuring clear written insights and visual narratives.

• Share findings and recommendations with senior leadership, including potential options and trade-offs.

• Work closely with Finance and executive stakeholders to support regular business reviews and planning cycles.

• Contribute to various analytics initiatives as business requirements change.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4–5 years of experience utilizing SQL for data extraction and transformation, along with Python for advanced analytics, automation, or modeling.

• Practical experience with forecasting and predictive modeling to aid strategic decision-making.

• Familiarity with modern data warehouses like Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, or Google BigQuery.

• Strong grasp of data modeling concepts, including star and snowflake schemas, as well as normalized vs. denormalized designs.

• Advanced skills in BI and visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau, including best practices for data storytelling.

• Demonstrated ability to manage analytics projects from inception to completion—from business requirements to analysis, insights, and executive recommendations.

• Experience in delivering measurable business outcomes through analytics, reporting, revenue operations, or related roles.

• Exceptional communication skills, with the capability to translate complex analyses into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
