This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Develop a top-tier Customer Experience Platform for our internal CX agents.
• Provide guidance and supervision to software engineers in order to create a platform that allows our CX agents to access all pertinent customer data and perform administrative actions on behalf of Buyers, Sellers, and our internal business partners.
• Integrate the platform with both internal record systems and external ticketing and AI systems.
• Collaborate with fellow Engineering Managers and Project Managers to oversee inter-team dependencies and ensure timely software delivery.
• Work alongside Cloud Platform & Site Reliability Engineering to guarantee a secure, reliable, and trusted platform for our CX agents and the customers they assist.
• Streamline redundant technologies and applications to establish a solid foundation for future business expansion.
• At least eight years of software development experience with large-scale, high-volume technical systems utilizing a microservices architecture on AWS for cloud infrastructure.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience) in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of three years of management experience.
• Demonstrated success in producing project management artifacts within an agile environment.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills, capable of engaging with both engineers and non-engineers.
• Strong aptitude for mentoring engineers, facilitating their skill development and career progression (including managing remote engineers).
