Staff Engagement Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Take charge of selected, simultaneous billable customer engagements while managing customer expectations and driving prescriptive outcomes throughout the entire customer lifecycle (Post Sales, Delivery, and Value Realization).

• Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to comprehend and analyze the engagement scope, requirements, timelines, costs, benefits, etc. Manage the engagement lifecycle from start to finish to achieve business objectives.

• Lead project management initiatives and oversee the execution of engagement kickoffs, project charters, and deliverables, effectively managing schedules, meeting milestones, and ensuring success throughout the engagement lifecycle to achieve business results.

• Create customer-facing and internal materials such as solution presentations, blueprints, reusable artifacts, project plans, burndown charts, and status reports.

• Identify, prioritize, and manage the resolution of internal and customer escalations and project risks, facilitating effective resolutions among technical, business, and executive stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven project/program management and service delivery experience, showcasing a history of delivering for strategic customers on schedule and within budget.

• Extensive experience with project financial fundamentals and PSA tools like Financial Force to oversee and drive operational activities (Reporting, Forecasting, and Tracking).

• Outstanding customer-facing capabilities and the ability to communicate effectively with executives as well as other stakeholders at customer sites and across various functions within Kong.

• Exceptional organizational and change management abilities, with a talent for juggling competing client demands.

• Strong presentation skills coupled with a deep understanding of professional services business metrics in a SaaS software context.

• Proven team player and team builder who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and is capable of adapting to constant changes.
