This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Spearheading experimentation and analytical strategies across product development, growth initiatives, monetization, marketing efforts, and operational projects, often concurrently.
• Utilizing causal inference techniques (such as difference-in-differences, synthetic controls, propensity score methods, and Bayesian experimentation) to address real business challenges when traditional A/B testing is not applicable.
• Collaborating closely with directors and senior leaders to define intricate, cross-functional issues and convert insights into actionable recommendations.
• Enhancing experimentation frameworks, metrics strategies, and analytical precision across teams by creating scalable methods for measurement, segmentation, forecasting, and incrementality.
• Shaping roadmap prioritization and business strategy through thorough analysis and effective communication of trade-offs and uncertainties.
• Providing mentorship and skill development for data scientists and analysts throughout the organization on experimentation, causal inference, and statistical best practices.
• Collaborating with Engineering, Product, and Machine Learning teams on instrumentation, data infrastructure, and analytical tools.
• Incorporating generative AI technologies into daily operations to automate processes, stimulate innovation, and enhance analytical efficiency.
• Over 8 years of experience in Data Science, Product Analytics, Applied Analytics, or Experimentation.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Economics, Physics, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience partnering with senior stakeholders in Product, Marketing, Revenue, Sales, Operations, or Customer Experience sectors to leverage data for strategic initiatives.
• Extensive experience in experimentation at scale, including the application of causal inference methodologies in complex, real-world business scenarios.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and strong fluency in Python, with the capability to navigate large, intricate datasets.
• The proficiency to integrate generative AI tools into daily workflows for task automation, innovation facilitation, and productivity enhancement.
• Familiarity with domains such as pricing and monetization analytics, growth and retention strategies, customer segmentation and lifecycle management, marketing attribution, incrementality, or operational and marketplace analytics.
• Experience in dynamic, high-growth settings such as consumer technology, SaaS, fintech, marketplaces, or platform companies is highly desirable.
