Lead Data Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Establish and implement the analytical framework for assessing agent and channel performance within a multichannel distribution model.

• Create and deploy predictive models that aid in identifying growth opportunities, enhancing customer experience, managing retention risk, and optimizing channels.

• Perform program evaluations utilizing experimental and quasi-experimental techniques to determine the causal impact of business initiatives.

• Convert analytical insights into clear and actionable recommendations for senior leadership.

• Independently set and prioritize the analytical agenda, concentrating on the most valuable inquiries.

• Effectively navigate a data environment that is not completely controlled or curated, maintaining analytical rigor despite less-than-ideal inputs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's degree with over 4 years of relevant experience.

• More than 2 years of experience in project or analytical leadership.

• Advanced skills in Python (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, statsmodels) and SQL.

• Significant experience in causal inference, experimental design, or quasi-experimental methodologies.

• A demonstrated history of working with real-world operational data that may be incomplete or inconsistent.

• Experience in structuring analyses within ambiguous settings where data definitions may evolve.

• Capability to design and carry out comprehensive analyses, from exploration to modeling and communication.

• Ability to work with minimal supervision and to exercise independent judgment.

• A proven interest in enhancing consumer or customer experiences.
