This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the data collaboration platform: Serve as the primary owner for Zeta’s data collaboration product, ensuring its stability, scalability, security measures, and long-term growth across cloud architectures.
• Advance the architecture beyond its current setup: Enhance the existing cleanroom-based implementation by designing comparable capabilities across various cloud and data platforms while maintaining zero-copy, security, and enterprise trust assurances.
• Establish and drive the roadmap: Define, prioritize, and implement a roadmap that reconciles client needs, technical viability, platform reuse, and long-term strategic benefits.
• Develop the support and operational model: Construct a scalable support framework required to run the platform at an enterprise level—this includes documentation, patterns, tools, escalation procedures, and operational readiness.
• Remain hands-on where necessary: Possess the technical acumen to design and execute secure data collaboration workflows, including cleanroom-style methodologies, access controls, and policy-driven computing.
• Collaborate on go-to-market strategy: Work in close partnership with product, sales, and client-facing teams to effectively position data collaboration offerings, refine messaging, support complex transactions, and ensure the platform is both marketable and deliverable.
• Elevate internal standards: Cultivate extensive institutional knowledge surrounding data collaboration by conducting enablement sessions, publishing internal playbooks, and acting as the primary expert across engineering, product, and GTM teams.
• Measure what matters: Establish success metrics—adoption, client outcomes, reliability, revenue impact—and leverage them to guide investment, iteration, and deprecation strategies.
• Proven leadership experience in overseeing a data platform, product, or technical domain from start to finish.
• Practical experience with Python, SQL, and Java or Ruby.
• Direct experience with secure data sharing or collaboration methodologies (e.g., cleanrooms, zero-copy architectures, policy-driven access, governed computation).
• Strong foundation in contemporary data platforms and cloud ecosystems (Snowflake, AWS, Databricks, or similar).
• Capability to design and evaluate secure, scalable architectures that comply with enterprise and regulatory standards.
• Experience in balancing technical depth with business ownership, including roadmap development and GTM collaboration.
• Comfort in engaging directly with large enterprise clients regarding architecture, security, and value propositions.
• A history of building platforms that evolve from “functional” to “scalable and repeatable.”
• Unlimited PTO
• Exceptional medical, dental, and vision coverage
• Employee Equity
• Employee Discounts, Virtual Wellness Classes, and Pet Insurance, and more!
