This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Identifying and assessing opportunities for 10x to create new offerings and businesses that leverage the intersection of 10x-generated data and the rapidly changing landscape of AI and analytical tools.
• Converting opportunities into investable proposals that make full use of 10x’s business, channels, capabilities, and roadmap, while detailing the external resources required through partnerships or M&A.
• Collaborating across disciplines to formulate effective execution plans, including recognizing innovative capabilities essential for executing selected proposals.
• Advocating for the vision and strategy with senior leadership and the Board to ensure alignment and investment in the right proposals.
• Overseeing the implementation of new opportunities.
• Proven experience (including prior 0->1 experience) in ideation, assessment, go-to-market strategies, and scaling a business focused on selling datasets or insights.
• In-depth knowledge of data and insights requirements within at least one of the Pharma R&D or diagnostic development sectors.
• Strong inclination towards action, iteration, and engagement to swiftly develop and evaluate ideas.
• Excellent product leadership capabilities, coupled with an understanding of the tools and architectures necessary for the implementation of data and insight products.
• Proficiency in modern AI and agentic tools, capabilities, and trends, with an instinct to design offerings and solutions that anticipate the rapid pace of capability development in the industry.
• Detailed understanding of various biological data types and measurement tools, ideally including single-cell and/or spatial genomics tools.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks that influence data and insights offerings handling biomedical data.
• Experience in building teams with new hires in new functions and roles, as well as coordinating with and utilizing existing talent within the organization.
• Experience in evaluating partnership and M&A opportunities, with substantial prior involvement in executing and integrating inorganic assets and capabilities.
• Capability to work effectively across all organizational functions and levels of seniority.
• Exceptional communication skills tailored to engage multiple audiences at varying levels.
• Connections with leaders in the AI/ML, life sciences, pharma, or clinical sectors that would enhance the identification of opportunities and their execution.
