This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
β’ Oversee the creation of machine learning (ML) methodologies and the analysis of patient data.
β’ Conduct project-specific hands-on analysis and modeling of high-dimensional longitudinal real-world data.
β’ Assist in the design, execution, and assessment of cutting-edge machine learning techniques.
β’ Break down complex challenges into manageable components.
β’ Engage in code reviews and provide consistent progress updates on tasks.
β’ MS, MPH, or PhD in health data science, biostatistics, or a related quantitative discipline with 5 years of experience in developing and applying ML techniques.
β’ Extensive experience in creating and deploying machine learning solutions within healthcare databases, including EHRs, administrative claims, and patient registries.
β’ Knowledge of U.S. and international medical coding ontologies and data models (ICD, ATC, LOINC, SNOMED, CPT, HCPCS, OMOP, etc.).
β’ Broad expertise in core ML paradigms (e.g., supervised, unsupervised, semi-supervised).
β’ Strong understanding of essential elements of the ML development lifecycle.
β’ Proficient in Python and contemporary data science tools (e.g., scikit-learn, PyTorch, statsmodels, SciPy, MLlib, MLflow).
β’ Outstanding time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively and consistently deliver products on schedule.
