This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
• Take ownership of the roadmap for Clio's French legal content.
• Establish targets for completeness, update speed, depth of enrichment, and reliability.
• Match or exceed LexisNexis France, Dalloz, and Lamy in terms of coverage, currency, and quality.
• Enhance win rates, trust, retention, and revenue associated with French content.
• Identify and prioritize gaps in French case law and legislation.
• Lead decisions regarding build, buy, and licensing in collaboration with Licensing, Legal, and Corporate Development.
• Manage a prioritized backlog with Content Operations and Engineering while guiding the transition to Iceberg.
• Develop resilient, scalable pipelines that are owned by Clio.
• Establish standards for monitoring, fault tolerance, and recovery for Vincent and Clio Work.
• Enhance metadata related to case law and legislation, including citations, amendments, case summaries, and hierarchy.
• Combine editorial review with AI tools to enhance content discoverability and downstream AI usability.
• Collaborate with Finance and FP&A on expenditures related to French content and create performance dashboards.
• Present updates on roadmap progress, risks, and business impact to the Content Committee quarterly.
• Evaluate French coverage against regional legal content providers and monitor AI and NLP methodologies.
• Develop partnerships with courts, publishers, and open-data organizations.
• Provide training for Product, Sales, Marketing, and Support teams on Clio's French content.
• Maintain the internal French Legal Materials Reference Guide.
• Offer advice on enterprise deals that necessitate in-depth knowledge of French legal content.
• Document content strengths for Product Marketing and Sales Enablement.
• 7 to 10 years of experience in legal publishing, legal data management, or content and product management.
• Proven track record of managing a content portfolio from inception to completion.
• Extensive knowledge of the French legal system and the legal publishing industry.
• Direct experience with French case law and legislation relevant to legal research or practice platforms.
• History of formulating strategy and taking ownership of results at a senior or staff level.
• Strong product ownership skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct reports.
• Prioritize initiatives based on quantitative metrics and ROI analysis.
• Technical proficiency with ETL pipelines, ingestion systems, and metadata frameworks.
• Effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executives.
• Proven ability to set standards that other teams adhere to.
• Strong interest in enhancing skills through the use of AI.
