Staff Backend Engineer – Core

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop alert functionalities with a focus on robustness and scalability.

• Create integrations with tools such as JIRA, incident.io, and others.

• Design and implement APIs, services, and essential backend components using Go.

• Ensure the reliability of alert systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5 to 10 years of experience working with Golang.

• Strong knowledge of concurrency, locks, channels, and performance optimization in Go.

• Experience in building distributed systems while producing clean and scalable code.

• Passionate about open-source, with a history of contributions to OSS projects, regardless of size.

• Capability to lead initiatives from start to finish: encompassing problem discovery, design, implementation, and rollout.

• Comfortable in a high-ownership, fast-paced, remote-first work environment.

• Excellent communication skills – able to write clear technical documentation and articulate trade-offs effectively.
