This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, develop, and manage highly available, fault-tolerant, and high-throughput transactional platform services.
• Take charge of the end-to-end design of agentic AI workflows utilizing LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, tool-calling patterns, and multi-agent coordination on AWS.
• Develop production-quality services in Python and Go while setting language-specific engineering standards.
• Create and oversee AWS-native infrastructure in accordance with the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
• Establish standards for code review, test coverage, CI/CD, and observability.
• Conduct technical design reviews and generate architecture decision records along with technical specifications.
• Address performance bottlenecks in distributed systems through query optimization, caching, and asynchronous processing.
• Lead proof-of-concept evaluations and deliver production-readiness recommendations to engineering leadership.
• Mentor senior and mid-level engineers through reviews, collaborative work, and technical coaching.
• Engage in on-call rotations, incident responses, and post-mortem analyses to enhance system reliability.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Over 8 years of professional software engineering experience, including at least 3 years in a staff-level, principal, or equivalent technical leadership position.
• More than 4 years of hands-on experience in building and maintaining production services on AWS.
• Extensive knowledge of AWS compute, storage, messaging, and networking services.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in Python development using asyncio, FastAPI, and Pydantic.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience with Go in production microservices.
• Proven experience in architecting and managing large-scale transactional systems, high-volume OLTP, event-driven architectures, distributed caches, and saga/outbox patterns.
• Practical experience in building agentic AI systems, including agent orchestration, tool/function calling, RAG pipelines, and LLM integration patterns.
• Proficiency in relational and non-relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Aurora, DynamoDB, Redis, or ElasticSearch.
• Competence with Docker and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, CDK, or Helm.
• Experience utilizing observability tools such as Datadog, OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch, or similar.
• Background in managing and evolving CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Harness.
• Familiarity with integrating Kafka or SQS and designing event-driven architectures.
• Experience in mentoring engineers and fostering company-wide improvements in engineering culture, quality, and efficiency.
