This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Take charge of roadmap execution and product specifications for key features within Duck Creek’s Agentic AI Platform, which encompass agent orchestration, lifecycle management, governance, observability, and platform scalability.
• Convert AI platform, agentic workflow, data, and architecture challenges into epics, features, use cases, requirements, and user stories.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Architecture teams to establish scalable patterns for the creation, deployment, coordination, monitoring, evaluation, versioning, and retirement of AI agents.
• Define reusable capabilities for the agentic platform, including agent templates, tool and API access, agent registry, prompt and instruction management, task orchestration, human-in-the-loop controls, escalation procedures, fallback strategies, and approval patterns.
• Facilitate agent grounding within an approved insurance context, incorporating core system data, business rules, documents, configurations, metadata, and knowledge sources.
• Set product requirements for explainability, traceability, audit logs, model lineage, evaluation, guardrails, access controls, security, compliance, and responsible AI governance.
• Assess adoption, reliability, safety, and business impact by utilizing metrics such as time to value, agent performance, task completion rates, human override frequencies, output quality, latency, costs, audit coverage, and customer value.
• Prioritize items on the roadmap and make backlog decisions while balancing customer value, technical complexity, security, compliance, operational readiness, and delivery capacity.
• Suggest trade-offs for the roadmap, sequencing decisions, and platform investments in collaboration with Product and Engineering leaders.
• Work alongside Customer Success, Professional Services, and customer stakeholders to address implementation needs, adoption challenges, operational requirements, and value outcomes.
• Convey complex AI platform decisions to product, customer-facing, technical, and leadership stakeholders.
• Observe emerging trends in agentic AI, AI governance, observability, orchestration, and platform technologies.
• Bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Science, Business, Insurance, Product Management, or a related field.
• Over 6 years of experience in technical product management, platform services, software engineering, AI product management, infrastructure management, PaaS, or similar roles.
• Proven experience in owning complex product capabilities that necessitate alignment among product, engineering, architecture, data, security, customer-facing, and business stakeholders.
• Familiarity with AI, machine learning, generative AI, large language models, agentic AI, automation platforms, workflow systems, data platforms, integration platforms, or enterprise application platforms.
• Understanding of agentic AI concepts such as agent orchestration, tool utilization, prompt and instruction management, context grounding, evaluation, observability, and lifecycle management.
• Comprehension of AI assurance and governance principles, including explainability, interpretability, traceability, auditability, model lineage, monitoring, policy enforcement, and access controls.
• Knowledge of platform product management methodologies, including roadmap execution, product discovery, requirements definition, backlog prioritization, and release planning.
• Awareness of enterprise SaaS platform considerations, focusing on scalability, reliability, security, compliance, configurability, and operational supportability.
• Insight into data grounding methodologies, including validated knowledge sources, business rules, metadata, documents, system data, and governed data access.
• Familiarity with insurance technology domains such as underwriting, claims, policy, billing, distribution, rating, reporting, or customer service.
• Proficiency in translating intricate technical concepts into product requirements, use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Ability to assess trade-offs concerning innovation, customer value, technical complexity, security, compliance, and operational readiness.
• Capability to utilize product metrics to evaluate adoption, performance, reliability, safety, quality, costs, and customer value.
• Experience in collaborating with engineering, architecture, data science, security, legal, compliance, and customer-facing teams.
• Aptitude for defining reusable, configurable, observable, secure, explainable, and governed AI agent capabilities.
• Capability to influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct reporting authority.
• Proficiency in clearly communicating AI platform decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
